This Blog has spoken and to those of you who wanted the truth, you got it....We have pieced most of what we could and it spells out L-I-E-S and D-E-C-E-P-T-I-O-N on Journey's part. It is so clear and evident, that this is just another foul smelling stench Journey has left behind for all to smell.
Sopranos Finale helps Don't Stop believin' bounce 482% and people are saying, "Journey are back! Let's hit the official website!" Upon arrival, they find a site which is down, out, gone. Beautiful timing. They are in the process of hiring a singer from a tribute band, and while he is a good guy, I am sure in time he will surely join the "Dark Side of Darth Friga and Emporer Schon. Too bad and too sad. I wonder if Jon sits at is mansion and wonders what a fuck up he really is? This guy is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Neal plays guitar, and well, but dude should stick to doing just that, and not engineering trades of the lead singer position. Darth Friga meanwhile, continues to make sappy shitty ballads that a few 400 pound behemoths from BackTalk buy and fawn over, and he continues to be the easily the most hated guy in Journey. They have now made their cot, and must sleep in it. Good luck.
The blog has basically run it's course. Once again, BT and Journey are late for the party and empty handed. I feel for them. They remind me of Iraqi soldiers. Taking orders, and fighting with one sock, mismatched uniforms and no ammunition, all under General Azoff's commands. Funny thing is, the General can't remember his birthday or when he took his last shit. He doesn't even know who Journey is.

Words Unspoken
I've been getting tons of emails & PM's regarding my sources for the info put on this blog. I have inside sources within the Journey camp for starters who confirm bits here & there as well as my own insight from the times I have hung with the band, backstage or personally. One thing I can verify is none of it is coming directly from JSS himself as he reveals nothing to anyone, believe me, I've tried! It's no revelation he & I are friends & I have been in direct contact with other bandmates who have no problems revealing insights at any given time.
In the meantime, I spoke to a buddy who got this new bit of information. Journey management met recently with a major label who were VERY interested in signing them BECAUSE of JSS & all the excitement generated with fans & critcs alike, to their amazement they learn that Jeff was dismissed. Just how smart is this organization? So the queation begs...
Anyone think they'll still get the deal?"

Facts
Here is what happened.
We all know Jeff and the band performed in Virginia on May 12th. Jeff then flies to Europe to perform with Talisman, the farewell tour of Talisman, the band that he was putting to bed so he could go on with Journey. A few days after his arrival in Holland, word starts spreading back here in the U.S. that while at a Washington DC Airport Neal told another person that Jeff has played his last show with the band. We hear word has gotten to Jeff through his webmaster in England. Throughout the next 3 and a half weeks of Jeff's tour he hears more and more rumours of his fate. It is rampant among Journey fans. From my own personal interactions with the band it becomes very clear who's doing the talking...Can you imagine having to perform with thoughts of Journey cutting you on your mind? Not only that, but, Jeff hearing the dirty laundry of the bands inner problems are being aired everywhere. Heartless!
Jeff tells his webmaster to respond to all emails with the response that management deny rumours and he is not giving them any weight.....
Through very reliable sources we hear that Kevin Chalfant was approached in May, and asked to do the Virginia gig. He declines because it is too close to prepare for. He is told by Mgt that Jeff is leaving the band because he doesn't want to be part of a nostalgia act. Kevin, assumably was excited. The Journey gig is one he would love to have. He never asked Jeff if this were true, and honestly, why would he? So he turns down the Virginia May gig, but Journey Mgt are also seeking out other possibilities; like tribute band singers. So to sum this up, Journey members and their Mgt both turned off their collective communication to their lead singer, lie to other prospective singers and actively seek out singers to hire behind Soto's back, as he is in Europe, closing the book on his former band, in order to open another book with Journey. Meanwhile, the night before Jeff flies back to the States, at the Sweden Rock Festival, he runs into an artist also represented by Azoff Management, they shoot the shit & it's mentioned to Jeff he knows he's out of the band. How would that feel to be Jeff that night?
Jeff get's back to LA on Saturday, apparently to no word from any band member or management. Then on Monday gets the word from management, "We are letting you go." So, he found out Monday, they released their bullshit statement Tuesday.
Then comes word that two weeks ago today, Ross Valory was on the phone to Kevin Chalfant saying he would go to bat for him. So, Ross is the only one who returns Jeff's call from JFK Monday, and says he was on vacation and didn't know what going on, yet sources confirm he contacted Kevin. Meanwhile Chalfant has been heard to say something to the liking of, "They fucked me over again." I congratulated Jeremey, lead singer of the tribute band Frontiers, and he said to me, "Thank You. I hope you and others will give this lineup a chance." Now, I don't know what you call that, but to me it says, Jeremey is your new Journey lead vocalist.
There's your fucking facts.

Departure
Jeff Scott Soto was fired from Journey. He didn't walk away. He loved that gig and busted his ass to excel at it. He was lied to, and stabbed in the back. Two men, Jon Cain and Neal Schon were upset about Jeff's stage presence, and they alone made the change. Deen Castronovo and Ross Valory were not included in this. This is all about two assholes, whose egos were bruised because the fans affection for Jeff was greater than they would have imagined.
Jeff is doing "okay" or as okay as one could do under the circumstances. He probably won't be on a message board soon, but I can still keep you fans posted on things.
I am trying to piece together a timeline of the recent turn of events. Just doing this makes me sickened.
Tomorrow: Who told Jeff first, that he was no longer in the band. Go ahead and guess.

A Sad Day
Hello and welcome.
If you are here, you must be here to learn the truth about what happened to a once great band, now reduced to rubble. Well, you have come to the right place. Everything I post here will be 100% truthful, regardless of what Journey tells you on their official website. They haven't told the truth for years, and I don't expect them to start anytime soon.
I will update this blog daily, and will include a message forum for people to ask questions.
Be sure to check back regularly for updates.
