What blows me away is that they could have gained so much this week from the Sopranos yet they choose to create a huge riff with their fan base. They aren't even trying to seperate themselves from Perry. Which has gotten even harder to do when you pull crap like this over the past year.

Just shootn' straight, I never really did understand Soto as the choice last year. Everybody knows he's a great, great singer and talent. But the lead singer for Journey?

I (as i'm sure everyone else has!) have had a gut full of the bullshit this band has fed us over the past few years.
First there was the Trial By Fire fiasco where Perry returned for an album and fucked off again...
We then had the Augeri miming fraud last year and the cover up that followed...
...and now this with Jeff. "Oh, it was an amicable split" they say, BULLSHIT Journey, you forget that this is a world of the internet and Jeff is a friend of the fans and is in very close touch with them. We KNOW you used him and discarded him, and after all that he sacrificed for you.
Fuck you Journey.

Don't you have more important things to worry about like the health of your pregnant girlfriend and your twins? This should be your focus right now! They are what's important, Journey isn't. It's all well and fine to be pissed as hell and it is definatly wrong of the band to do what they did, but you did enough damage to this band and the fans in the past. Get a life & focus on the loved ones in your life! Stop spreading so much hate! It will only come back to you and right now you need all the good blessings you can get with the babies on the way.

For the record, Perry did not 'returned for an album and fucked off again...' He was fucked OVER! IMO Neal's ego just cannot share the spotlight; he needs more attention and recognition than anyone else on stage with him. Never cared for Augeri's voice, although he is a nice guy. JSS did a GREAT job and baled them out on SHORT notice only to be fucked over. Jeff, thank you for your professionalism and energy; we enjoyed you in concert with Journey (we were right up front!) as always. Dean, thank you for telling us the truth. Journey has gotten themselves into all this shit, and THEY are the ones who look like fools, THEY are the ones who should feel embarrassed and ashamed....NOT Augeri or Soto! And finally, for all those who accused Perry of just 'walkin' away' or being a 'deserter' - it should be OBVIOUS now just how badly he was fucked over! No wonder he wouldn't come back - then or now. This kind of shit happened BEFORE Perry; personnel changes I'm referring to. Perry put Journey 'on the map' and 'on the radio.' Journey was not successful BEFORE Perry, and they certainly have not been successful AFTER Perry. What a sad day, indeed; my Journey of 28 years as a fan is now over. I'll watch my bootleg dvd's of a great band that was; I won't be attending half-assed concerts that will be a sad 'imitation' of what they used to be!
